Hip Hop Golden Age (Part 1)

Undoubtedly the finest years the hip hop genre has seen to date has been the mid 90’s, with the rise of Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, and of course Tupac, and Biggie Smalls, to name but a few. In my opinion the finest works, or most of the finest works from these top emcees came with thier most forefront albums and material. Eminem’s infinite is an underground classic which sold less than a thousand copies out of the boot of his car in Detroit. Nas’ Illmatic and Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt along with countless other ablums of the decade bring together some of the finest talent in hip hop producing and spring some of the most notorious rhymes and verses to boot. However on the underground scene, albums upon albums are being slept on due to lack of promotion and the necessity to remain underground. Here are a few releases that have most definitely been slept on, and deserve some major recognition.
